Managerial improvement and technological innovation

This paper discusses the condition of the technicians and researchers from research institutions in the face of the new forms of management of innovation practices. The international literature points to an increasing disassociation between scientific, technological and innovation policies, which has direct effects on the development of technological creativity. There is a veiled conflict between the management of innovative practices and the subject of the technical experimentation. The text presents some of the results of a research on innovative practices conducted by Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária - EMBRAPA (Brazilian Enterprise for Research on Farming and Cattle Raising), which establishes new managerial goals and innovation changes.
