Looking through the articles that comprise the book Cultura e Sociedade: Brasil e Argentina, this review aims to reflect on how cultural products, especially the so-called cultural industry, have been addressed by sociology of culture in Brazil, and, at the same time, it seeks to identify new possibilities and approaches to this issues.
