Abstract:
The paper recovers the study of Jeannine Verdès-Leroux about the French Social Work and Social Service, at the traditional professional context. Approaches the central concepts of sociology of Pierre Bourdieu (but not exhaustively) - main methodological influence on the above author. Thereby are evaluated the Verdès-Leroux indications that address the social service as coherent control system and symbolic violence.
