Abstract:
This article indicates the challenges about professional formation in Social Work in the current context of the Brazilian reality, having as reference the problems faced by the pedagogical coordination of social work courses of the Universidade de Brasília (UnB) between 2018 and 2020. It identifies in this sense aspects about the loss of quality of academic and professional education as an expression of the ultraneoliberal and neoconservative advance in Brazilian public education.
