Women struggle for social policies: advances and setbacks

Abstract:

This article results from a master’s research on the contribution of National Policy Plans for Women in the constitution of social gender policies in municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul from the perspective of intersectionality. It was noted the contribution of feminists in the National Conferences, which resulted in the construction of two Plans. At the period without Conferences, the fragility in the Municipal Councils and the absence of public budget affected municipal gender policies.
