Abstract:
This article seeks to present the scope, actions and impact of the Postgraduate Program in Social Work and Regional Development (PPGSSDR) at the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF). This was conceived recognizing the role of the university as an autonomous social institution - but not isolated - and articulated on the indissociability between teaching-research-extension, with the challenges that come from the set of societal transformations that threaten the public character of the Ifes and the university culture.
