Home health care has been integrated into the exercise of the Family Health Program (ESF) as a form of access to professional performance in community health and in the home, an environment of the family's and the patient's life. Thus, this qualitative research was carried out, aiming to recognize how the home health care in the ESF is perceived by the professionals who perform it. The data was collected through applied questionnaires together with the 8 health care professionals in home health care in ESF. It was also observed that the same is recognized in its importance and different dimensions by the professionals, who exert it in order to seek the integration and continuity of their actions.
