Ciência e Tecnologia de Alimentos is published four times a year by the Sociedade Brasileira de Ciência e Tecnologia de Alimentos - SBCTA, aiming at publishing scientific articles and communications in the area of food science.

Its abbreviated title is Ciênc. Tecnol. Aliment., which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes and bibliographical references and strips.
