History: created in 1997, since 2007 it has been adopted the quarterly frequency publication. In 2008 it increased by 25% the quantity of articles published in each unit. It has also increased the percentage of original research articles to more than 80%, reaching the mark of 90% in 2009. In 2010, It was released its latest editions at the Portal de Periódicos da BVS Enfermagem - BIREME.

Frequency of the Journal: Quaterly

Its abbreviated title is Esc Anna Nery, which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes and bibliographical references and strips.
