Basic information

 

The Brazilian Weed Science Society (SBCPD) was founded in 1963 and has significantly contributed to the development of weed biology and management in Brazil. The scientific advancements in this area are discussed at bi-annual national meetings. SBCPD's main publication since 1978 has been the Planta Daninha journal.


Its abbreviated title is Planta Daninha, and it should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic strips.
