Psicologia & Sociedade is the quadrimestral journal of the Associação Brasileira de Psicologia Social - ABRAPSO [Brazilian Society of Social Psychology].

The journal publishes original articles that highlight research and theory at the interface of psychology and society, those that take a posture towards Social Psychology that is critical, transformative, and interdisciplinary.

Founded in 1986, it ran until 1992. Publication resumed in 1996 with Volume 8, Number 1, under the direction of an Editorial Board that answered to the National Directorship of ABRAPSO. The journal publishes theoretical essays, research reports, book reviews, interviews, and abstracts of theses and dissertations.

Its abbreviated title is Psicol. Soc., and it should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic strips.
