Aims:

The RAC published articles about theoretical development and theoretical-empirical papers in the field of Administration. Different theoretical and methodological perspectives are acceptable as long as they are consistent and relevant to the development of the field (articles based on single-case studies will be accepted if they deal with organizations that are highly representative of their field or if they provide a significant contribution to knowledge of the field). In addition to articles, the RAC publishes reviews, bibliographical notes and documents for the community to reflect on.

The target audience is mainly professionals and students from Brazilian academic circles and managers of public, private and third sector organizations who are interested in dialog and innovation in the field of administration.

Periodic Interval:

Quarterly (January-March, April-June, July-September, October-December).

Its abbreviated title is Rev. adm. contemp., which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes and bibliographical references and strips.

In view of Brazilian Law 9.610, of 19 February, 1998 updates and consolidates copyright legislation and related matters, the RAC sets the following conditions for granting copyright permission:

1. The Revista de Administração Contemporânea (RAC), with copyright permission having been granted, retains copyright of all articles published in the journal;

2. The author exercises all moral rights, including the right to be identified as the author whenever the article is published;

3. Upon formal application by the author, the RAC may grant the right to publish the article as a chapter or part of a book;

4. The author retains the right to reutilize the article in future collections of his/her own work without any financial burden. The only obligation will be to recognize the previous publication in the RAC in such cases;

5. The author may make photocopies of the article or distribute it electronically or by fax under the condition that it is to be used in his/her own teaching to fulfill the aims of research. This may be done under the following conditions: (a) these copies are not to be resold and (b) that the original source of publication, i.e. RAC (the copyright holder) must be clearly identified on every copy of the article.
