Revista Brasileira de Cirurgia Plástica (Brazilian Journal of Plastic Surgery) is edited quarterly by the Sociedade Brasileira de Cirurgia Plástica - SBPC, aiming at publishing scientific papers in Plastic Surgery, fomenting the study, improvement and update of the specialty, always emphasizing its multidisciplinary character. It is dedicated to the publication of manuscripts on reconstructive and esthetic plastic surgery including basic or applied research.
Revista Brasileira de Cirurgia Plástica has been edited since 1986, printing 4,500 copies and has been published continuously since its creation and is freely distributed to all members of SBCP.
Its abbreviated title is Rev. Bras. Cir. Plást. (Impr.), which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes and bibliographical references and strips.
