Basic Information

The publication of the Revista Brasileira de Ginecologia e Obstetrícia is supported by the Federação das Sociedades de Ginecologia e Obstetrícia (FEBRASGO). The journal is a specialized publication directed at obstetricians, gynecologists and professionals of related areas, and is open to contributions by Brazilian and international authors. The scope of the Journal is to publish original contributions submitted for review, which deal with relevant topics in the field of gynecology and obstetrics.

The Instructions to Authors of Revista Brasileira de Ginecologia e Obstetrícia incorporate the norms appearing in the latest version of the Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals (Ann Intern Med 1997; 126:36-47). Please see the complete version of the cited text (www.icmje.org) for more information.

Its abbreviated title is Rev. Bras. Ginecol. Obstet., and it should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic strips.
