Revista Brasileira de Otorrinolaringologia (Brazilian Journal of Otolaryngology) Editor: João Ferreira de Mello Júnior The aim of this journal is the national and international divulgation of the scientific production interesting to the otolaryngology, as well as the discussion, in editorials, of subjects of scientific, academic and professional relevance. Fields of interest: otolaryngology and the associated areas (cranio-maxillo-facial surgery and phoniatrics). Founded as the "Revista Oto-laryngológica de São Paulo" in 1933, the journal was, in the decade of 1950, incorporated to the Brazilian Federation of the Otolaryngology and Broncho-oesophagology Societies (which is today known as the Brazilian Association of Otolaryngology and Cervico-facial Surgery), changing its name to "Revista Brasileira de Otorrinolaringologia" (Brazilian Journal of Otolaryngology in its English version). Indexed to SciELO since 2001, to LILACS, and to MEDLINE since 2005. Periodicity: Bimonthly. The abbreviated title of the journal is Rev. Bras. Otorrinolaringol., and it should be used in footnotes and references. |
