The Revista Brasileira de Política Internacional (RBPI) is a biannual publication founded in 1958 in Rio de Janeiro by the Instituto Brasileiro de Relações Internacionais (Brazilian Institute of International Relations, IBRI), a non-profit non-governmental organization with cultural purposes. RBPI is the oldest publication in circulation in Brazil specializing in themes from the international agenda and foreign affairs and one of the most traditional in Latin America. Since its inception, it has assumed a prominent role in the political and academic culture of the country. Transferred to Brasilia in 1993, RBPI acts as a privileged instrument for the general study of International Relations and in particular of themes relative to the international context of Brazil. RBPI publishes unedited contributions in Portuguese, English or Spanish in the form of scientific articles, notes, reviews of articles and of books with themes on International Relations that encompass International and Compared Policy, International Law, History of International Relations and Foreign Affairs and International Economic Policy. All of the contributions are subjected to a scientific review. Its abbreviated title is Rev. bras. polít. int. , which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes and bibliographical references and strips. |
