References

The references should be listed in the end of the text, in alphabetical order by the last name of the main author, in compliance with Standard NBR-6023 regarding documentation, as shown in the following examples:

General Instructions for Submitting Papers

  • Papers should be typed with single spacing. The paper to be used is A4 and should have 2cm margins. Articles should be precise, not longer than 08 pages in size 12 Times New Roman font, including abstracts, illustrations,tables, bibliographical references, etc.
    Note: In very special cases, articles will be accepted with a superior number of pages if the data presented is extremely important to the understanding of the topic in discussion.
  • Articles will only be accepted in English.
  • The title should express the general idea of the article in a clear and precise manner.
  • Articles should have an abstract with a 180-word maximum. This abstract is a concise summary of the facts contained in the article, illuminating important facts and conclusions.
  • Graphic designs should be used only to clarify texts.
  • When illustrations have already been published at another source, furnish the source and reproduction permission.
  • Very Important: The complete name, qualifications, origin, address and email of the author(s) should be provided in the proper blanks of the registration form.

    Importantíssimo: O(s) nome (s) completo(s) do(s) autor(es), sua(s) qualificação(ões),  procedência, endereços completos e o(s) e-mail(s) devem ser colocados nos respectivos cadastros.

Page Charges
REM has a voluntary page charge of $50 per printed page. Many institutions, research groups, government agencies, and companies, and individuals include funds for publication costs in their scientific budgets. Authors are asked to seek these or other funds for page charges.

Reprints
Ten copies of REM without covers will be furnished free to authors paying full voluntary page charges.
