Novo tipo de lisímetro monolítico

SUMMARY
This note describes a new type of a monolithic lysimeter prepared by cutting a cylindrical block of soil and treating it with cellulose acetate and varnish. In this way So, it was possible to prepare at a very low cost a lysimeter having the natural soil structure.
This lysimeter way presents some advantages over the classical type. There is no drainage through the walls ; it is possible to take many of them to the laboratory in order to study several treatments on different soil types and the control of the soil water content is easy by weighing the block.
