Occurrence of tobacco necrosis virus in S. Paulo

SUMMARY

Three virus isolates from the roots of healthy looking greenhouse plants were obtained. A study of the symptomatology induced by these isolates on a number of host plants and of their properties in vitro indicated that they were very similar and belonged to the tobacco necrosis virus group.
