Abstract

CARVALHO FILHO, Adolpho  and  SALAME, José Massoud. Oligodendroglioma of the cerebello pontine angle: 16 years evolution. Literature revision and comments about the pathology. Arq. Neuro-Psiquiatr. [online]. 1989, vol.47, n.2, pp.241-247. ISSN 0004-282X.  http://dx.doi.org/10.1590/S0004-282X1989000200018.

The authors after a meticulous bibliography reasearch have found 43 cases of oligodendrogliomas in the posterior fossa. Out of these 43 cases they came to know that two of them were located in the cerebello pontine angle. The authors describe one more case of this pathology in this rare localization and call attention to the fact that the evolution of this case has been confirmed during the last sixteen years.
