SILVA, Felipe Cavalcanti Carneiro da et al. Chemical characterization and phenological determination of grapes cultivated in the North area of Rio de Janeiro state. Rev. Bras. Frutic. [online]. 2008, vol.30, n.1, pp. 38-42. ISSN 0100-2945. http://dx.doi.org/10.1590/S0100-29452008000100009.
The experiment was carried out in Campos dos Goytacazes County, RJ, in 2005 and 2006, aiming to characterize chemically and phenologically different grapes varieties, such as 'Romana', 'Isabel', 'Kyoho', 'Moscatel de Hamburgo', 'Roberta' and 'Niagara Rosada', cultivated in the North of the state of Rio de Janeiro. The six studied varieties were pruned on 03/20/2005 and 02/15/2006 to determine the phenological cycle. Pruning in February evidenced a reduction of the pruning-harvest period in all varieties. 'Isabel' was the latest variety, with a mean cycle of 124 days in both years.
