With the purpose of educating physicians with a biopsychosocial vision, changes in medical school curricula are being proposed to encourage more humanized medical practice, thereby fostering a better understanding of the patients psychological world The current study discusses aspects related to medical practice through clinical cases presenteei by third-years students at the School of Medicine, University of Brasília. During weekly meetings where cases are discussed, the aim is to approach the patient history, diagnosis, and prognosis from the students' subjective perspectives, favoring their emotional reaction to the cases. Such perspectives contribute not only to a better understanding of cases themselves by students, but also a more hunamstic and social approach thus achieving the Schools objective, namely for diagnosis to transcend biological aspects and include individuals' social and psychological dimensions. Such activities are crucially important for the development of professionals with a comprehensive and human commitment to their patients' health.
