Abstract
GOMES, Andréia Patrícia et al. Evaluation in medical education: the role of the portfolio in curricula based on active methodologies. Rev. bras. educ. med. [online]. 2010, vol.34, n.3, pp.390-396. ISSN 0100-5502. https://doi.org/10.1590/S0100-55022010000300008.
Current changes in medical education related to transformations in contemporary democratic societies have increasingly posed issues pertaining to the evaluation of teaching-learning processes. New methods and strategies are thus needed to supplant the prevailing summative grading approach. The current article thus discusses elements to construct such a new approach to evaluation, highlighting the portfolio as an evaluation tool.
