A new species, Alchornea anamariae R. Secco, and a new combination, A. pubescens (Britton) R. Secco, based on Conceveiba pubescens Britton, are proposed to Bolivia. The first one has more affinity with A. bogotensis Pax & K. Hoffm. and the other with A. sidifolia Muell. Arg. Descriptions, illustrations and comments on taxonomic relationships as well as geographic distribution are presented.
