One hundred and seventy-eight records of Aphyllophorales were found in URM. One hundred and sixty-nine were revised between September 2006 and May 2007, and represented eight families, 23 genera and 35 species. Polyporaceae had the highest number of species and genera. Ganoderma colossus (Fr.) C. F. Baker, G. orbiforme (Fr.) Ryvarden, Lenzites betulina (L.) Fr. and Panus tephroleucus (Mont.) T. W. May & A. E. Wood are new records to the Amazonian region.
