SCARPATO, Marta Thiago. Educational dance: a fact in the schools of São Paulo. Cad. CEDES [online]. 2001, vol.21, n.53, pp.57-68. ISSN 0101-3262.

The Educational Dance taught in the private schools of São Paulo, based on the theories of Rudolf Laban and Célestin Freinet. The results show the progress in the development of the students: bodily and intellectual autonomy, socialization, cooperation, responsability and advance in learning. This article questions the appropriate dance style in the school environment and points out the scarnecess of trained teachers to develop similar work.
