Abstract

ROSSLER, João Henrique. The development of the psyche in everyday life: establishing links between the psychology of Alexis N. Leontyev and Agnes Heller's theory of everyday life. Cad. CEDES [online]. 2004, vol.24, n.62, pp. 100-116. ISSN 0101-3262.  http://dx.doi.org/10.1590/S0101-32622004000100007.

This work proposes to highlight some links between the psychology of A. N. Leontyev and the philosophical theory of everyday life of Agnes Heller - more precisely what she called the forms of thought, feeling and action that are typical of everyday life. Our hypothesis is that this kind of analysis should contribute to a social-historical psychology, especially when it comes to understanding certain features of the human psyche within an alienating society, that is, when the structure of everyday life limits the individual's intellectual, affective and moral development. Through this paper, the author strives to contribute to an understanding of what could be called an "everyday psyche".

Keywords : A. N. Leontyev; Agnes Heller; Theory of everyday life; Alienation; Everyday psyche.
