The aim of this article is to analyze the organization and the relationship of Beijing and the 2008 Olympics' spaces. We adopted Gidden's concept of 'operational stage', micro-sociological principles of Goffman and the sociology of spaces categories of Simmel. One could observe the exclusiveness of Olympic spaces, its borders and delimitations. The establish of an expectation of performance and the creation of a sensorial dimension. On the other hand, we faced limits to discuss the fluidity of spaces. As a conclusion, the Games acquire spatial attributes that transcend city's identity and their interaction character seems to be related to the political project of the host country.
