The authors present a case-report of a male, 34 years old patient submitted to laparotomy due to acute abdomen caused by epiploic appendicitis. A special attention was given to the physical examination and intensity of symptoms as well as the unusual findings during surgical procedure because of sigmoid compromising suggesting Crohn's disease.
