TOWARDS A CLINICAL DIDACTICS: EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY IN TEACHING GRADUATION COURSES

ABSTRACT:

This article is based on a doctorate research which develops the thesis that teachers' previous education in Psychology leaves marks which will influence their actions when teaching Educational Psychology in License Degree Courses, practicing what we have named clinical didactics. Our aim is to discuss this practice in the teaching of Educational Psychology, approaching topics that contribute to the reflection on the necessity of teaching the contents of Educational Psychology clinically, although still didactically. Therefore, we shall approach the use of clinical didactics for the teaching of Psychology, for the teachers' training and the social-affective dimension within this training because we have realized that working in the technical perspective in this discipline is not enough and we also have to work on the personal education of the subject-students, future teachers, for their classroom practices in the current world set.
