Using the frames approach, the paper attempts to outline a human rights master frames in force among nongovernmental organizations in Brazil that guides its actions and activism. This article examines in particular the work of the Margarida Maria Alves Foundation, based in João Pessoa, Paraíba, using mainly the newsletters published by the organization. The examination of its trajectory and organizationalframes master illuminates aspects concerning building a human rights master frames in Brazil.
