ROSA, Barbara Paraiso Garcia Duarte da  and  WINOGRAD, Monah. Words and pills: on today's malaise medicamentation. Psicol. Soc. [online]. 2011, vol.23, n.spe, pp. 37-44. ISSN 0102-7182.  http://dx.doi.org/10.1590/S0102-71822011000400006.

Once Communication ways, like literature and TV shows, offer products who promise relief and lifestyle improvement, they are acting like self healing manuals, answering to a demand for whichever it may be the suffering in question. Due to the complexity of these phenomena, we will try to set up some of the intersections between drug, medicine and society which take part in the process of malaise medicamentation.

Keywords : medicamentation; discontent; suffering.
