Freud through his theory considers repetition as a structural element of a person. Repetition is unavoidable, because it is a part of the human being, so we intent to understand how this phenomenon can be identified and interpreted from an artistic viewpoint. Our attempt is to find the subject into the film text. We will analyze three Pedro Almodovar’s films, identifying which elements are repeated in each movie and in all of them. In this way, we believe it is possible to identify the style of an author, according to Foucault’s conception. The three films analized are Matador (1985), Tacones Lejanos (1991) and La Flor de mi Secreto (1995).
