A survey of the revision of the Brazilian Classification of Occupations (CBO), recently carried out by the Ministry of Labor and Employment, in partnership with research institutions, among them Fundação Instituto de Pesquisas Econômicas (Fipe) of the University of São Paulo. The discussion presents a brief description of the changes in the Brazilian labor market in recent decades.
