ABSTRACT
This study aimed to develop an analysis concerning the Ministry of Health laws that focus on the reception of the worker-user of the Unified Health System (SUS), especially regarding mental health. Methodologically, a documentary analysis was developed, with reading, discussion and comparison of objectives and actions involving the bylalws related to mental health care and to the National Policy for Occupational Health as well as the Law No. 10.216. It could be perceived that the articulation between those documents happens in a very tenuous way, making it difficult to fully embrace the user under work-related mental distress.
