In this paper, we try to raise some issues related to laughter as culturally determined behavior. We try to think in certain spaces that value or stigmatize the manifestation of humor. We intend to reflect on cultural differences of laughter in Brazil. More than finding answers, we try to bring up some questions about the meaning of laughter in Brazilian culture.
