This work studies the hierarchical production planning of sugarcane milling companies and proposes a robust optimization model that considers several uncertainties in the problem parameters. This approach can be seen as an alternative method for the stochastic robust optimization technique that was previously applied by the authors. Mathematical programming software was used for solving the linear and mixed integer programming problems involved. The computational results obtained are compared with the deterministic approach solutions presented in previous papers using data of a cooperative society of sugarcane milling companies case study.
