Abstract
The article aims to discuss some effects of the use of the ethnography theoretical-methodological reference in social psychology research, especially the multi-sited ethnography. For this purpose, it takes the case of a doctoral research developed in this interface and discusses some of their issues and contretemps, as well as the choices and resources used to address them. It also seeks to present the criteria that guided the research design in general terms.
