The purpose of this article is to offer an analysis of a professional network that comes from the movement of proliferation of a1temative therapies. The 80's are marked by an increase in the esoteric movement, and we will see the valorization of the therapeutic matter in the practices and lives of those who followed this uni verse. The consolidation of this tendency, during the 90's, indicates an increasing autonomy of alternative therapies in relation to their original uni verse (esoteric) and their interaction with other types of therapeutical knowledge in our cultural tradition.
