This is a reflection on the phenomenological theoretical-philosophical referential of the sociology, presenting the research-methodological principles by Alfred Schütz, considering this because the referential outlines the path to the full composition of the phenomenological research. Each principle is presented in detail using research that led to the referential proposal. This illustrates the manner in which the steps were executed to achieve a phenomenological approach. It was noted that it is compulsory to be fluent in the method by adopting a common thread that explains the research proposal and provides an overview of it. The idea of building these principles was to demonstrate the potential of using the theoretical-philosophical referential by Schütz as a methodological possibility to achieve the objectives of the research.
