The cure reaction of epoxy resin (EP) and curing agents based on polymercaptans (SH), amine-phenol and modified amine was studied in the MIR and NIR spectral regions. It was observed that the FT-NIR shows better the spectrometric changes of the reactions studied, which makes it possible to detect the curing agent in lower contents in epoxide systems.
