PINTO, Simone de S.  and  REZENDE, Mirabel C.. Application of poly(o-methoxyaniline) and its carbon black composites in microwave absorbers. Polímeros [online]. 2012, vol.22, n.4, pp.325-331.  Epub Aug 14, 2012. ISSN 0104-1428.

This study deals with the production of radar absorbing materials (RAM) based on poly(o-methoxyaniline) (POMA) and its conductive composites with carbon black (CB) (CB/POMA). The electrical conductivity of the CB/POMA composite was significantly higher (0.23-80 than for POMA (0.017 The attenuation of the electromagnetic radiation in the range between 8 and 12 GHz was highest for CB/POMA-conductive composites in epoxy resin, reaching up to 99.5% at 11.7 GHz.

Keywords : Poly(o-methoxyaniline); POMA; RAM; radar absorbing materials.
