The Brazilian initiatives at the time are very important in this paper, particularly the followings: (i) denuclearization of Latin American continent, (ii) the call for moderation to Cuban leadership, (iii) the permanent preoccupation with the crisis evolution, and (iv) the possibility of a neutralization of Cuban revolutionary process inside the borders of that island.
