The use of technologies that provide a better incorporation of phytosanitary chemicals to seeds and also to improve the physiological behavior of seeds in the field, may result in significant contribution to the farmers. This research was conducted at Arco-Íris Seed Farm in Alto Garças, MT, to evaluate the efficiency of film-coating in combination with fungicide treatment on soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merril] seeds regarding physiological and sanitary quality of the seed produced as well as yield. The experiment was conducted using soybean seeds, cultivar Pintado. Treatments consisted in submitting seeds to film-coating, at rate of 3ml/kg of AGL 205 and to the fungicide Tegram, (thiabendazole 17g i.a. + thiram 70g i.a.),  at  two  dosages,  1  and  2ml/kg.  The  treatments were:  1- AGL 205;   2- AGL 205 + Tegram (1ml/kg);   3- AGL 205 + Tegram (2ml/kg);   4- Control treatment; 5- Tegram (1ml/kg); 6- Tegram (2ml/kg). The evaluations were: field emergence at 21th day after emergence, height of the first pod insertion, plant height, number of pods per plant and yield. Seed quality of the harvested seed was evaluated through: germination, seedling emergence, speed of emergence, accelerated ageing, tetrazolium and blotter  test.  According  to  the  results,  it  was  observed that film-coating AGL 205 had no effect on the fungicide Tegram treatment, as the performance of soybean seeds  in  the  field and  the  film-coating  associated to the fungicide treatment did not affect the physiological and health quality of the produced seeds.
