This research aimed to verify the psychometric parameters presented in manuals of 19 intelligence tests. The psychometric properties included in the analysis were: item analysis, validity, reliability, and norms studies. The results indicated that 89.5% of the 19 tests presented norming studies. The procedure of sample selection was mostly non-random (62.2% of the tests). Construct validity was the most frequent method used among the studies (94.7%). All tests presented reliability studies, most of them using internal consistency coefficient (78.9%). It is concluded that although the authors agree that all tests need studies to verify psychometric parameters and studies to obtain regional norms this action isnt divulged totally yet in the Brazilian psychological assessment.
