Abstract

FEIJOO, Ana Maria Lopez Calvo de. Clinical psychology: technique and techne. Psicol. estud. [online]. 2004, vol.9, n.1, pp.87-93. ISSN 1413-7372.  http://dx.doi.org/10.1590/S1413-73722004000100011.

In the present work, technique, as it has been embraced in modern technology, is described and compared to its original Greek meaning, the techne. For such, Heidegger’s thoughts were used to guide and serve as a starting point for the considerations made about technique and “techne”. A clinical psychology parallel was established.

Keywords : technique; téchne; clinical psychology.
