The present article seeks to follow the Freudian "Oedipus Complex" theory. The text organizes the process of theorizing the "Oedipus" in four steps; "Oedipus in the dream theory", "Oedipus within the problematic of the Totemic Father", "the mechanism of identification in Oedipus", and finally, "Oedipus and the Castration Complex"
