Resumen

COSTA-MOURA, Fernanda  y  COSTA-MOURA, Renata. Objeto A: ética e estrutura. Ágora (Rio J.) [online]. 2011, vol.14, n.2, pp. 225-242. ISSN 1516-1498.  http://dx.doi.org/10.1590/S1516-14982011000200005.

Object a: ethics and structure. The article distinguishes the founding of the concept of object 'petit a' by Lacan, as it derives from the elements of the drive set by Freud, aiming at the conceptual operation that undertakes the transposition of subject/object relations, from the field of knowledge to the dimension of ethics. Displaying these objects as structural ones, the article concludes that the lacanian statement of a causality operating in the object level sets a new status for ethical problems, which are hereafter referred not to the deliberation of the subject but to the assumption of this causality in its effects, towards the desire.

Palabras llave : Psychoanalysis; cause; responsibility; ethics; object 'petit a'.
