Ribeirão dos Peixes provides the largest amount of water to the community of Dois Córregos city (SP). The physical delimitation of the hydrographical basins provides an adequate theme for an Environmental Education Program. This study has tried to focus on educators' interdisciplinary formation, which were carried out with students in the third grade of a public high school in order to allow them to reflect about the environmental dimension of the hydrographical micro basin. An initial investigation about the teacher's pedagogical practices used action research methodology and Teaching by research to guide the discussions about the Environmental Education in Ribeirão dos Peixes.
