This paper presents and discusses a descriptive-qualitative phenomenological research conducted at the Sayonara Garden, a neighbourhood of the city of Campo Grande-MS, from 2005 to 2006, aiming at identify and analise potentialities of participation, inside this territoriality, compatible with the implementation of local development. This text enlarges the discussion of the original research, thus pointing to (1^st) some introductory informations; (2^nd) the context of territoriality of Sayonara Garden; (3^rd) relationship between theoretical views, informations and performances of participation; (4^th) three important considerations that follow, developing basic theoretical aspects implied in comunitarization dynamics to Local Development; and, finally, (5^th) some final summary conclusions.
